[GUIDE] How to install ZombieMod correct.

Hello ZombieMod fanatics,

Because I hear alot of problems about how to install ZombieMod right, I came
to the idea to help you guys with this guide+ some other guides might not explain everything or containts incorrect information.

First off you have to download the ZombieMod:

1: RapidShare Webhosting + Webspace
or
2: http://www.t-phoenix.com/Zombiemod%202.0.0%20L.rar

Unrar the file by right-clicking on rar file and click on unrar.

Open up the file "Zombiemod 2.0.0 L" you now see the file "Zombiemod 2.0.0 L" again,
but this time you change the name into "cstrike" without the quotes.

Open up your server FTP
or control panel and copy&paste the map "cstrike" to the "cstrike" so the files get into the right place.

If that didn't worked: Then first open up your server FTP/ CP again and open "cstrike" now you see the files: addons, cfg etc. Then open up the map Zombiemod 2.0.0 L again (from your computer) and just copy&paste addons,cfg,materials,resource,models and sounds into your FTP/CP.

Now you uploaded the maps correct and it's time to tell MetaMod that you want ZombieMod to be loaded
on your server.

If you don't have MetaMod then read this, if you do have it continue reading further

META MOD:

Download: Metamod:Source for Half-Life 2

Unrar the file and open up your FTP/CP and upload the addons file to your "cstrike" directory

Then restart the server.

Typ in console: "meta" without the quotes, if nothing shows up into your console you've might not uploaded correct to your FTP/CP.

Open up your FTP/CP and look for the directory; Cstrike,addons,metamod and look for the file metaplugins.ini if there is no file then it's not a big problem, just open up Wordpad and save the file as metaplugins.ini now open up metaplugins.ini and add the line: "addons/zombiemod/bin/zombiemod_mm" without the quotes to it.

All you have to do now is replace the file with the old metaplugins.ini and you're almost done,
just restart the server and ZombieMod is now enabled and ready to play.

How to edit ZombieMod?

All the configs from ZM is located in cstrike-cfg-zombiemod-zombiemod.cfg
Just open zombiemod.cfg from your computer, you can either read carefully how to edit it or just continue reading.

After you installed ZM the server is all dark and foggy because zombiemod.cfg says so,
all you have to do to remove the darknish and fog is replacing

"zombie_dark 1" with "zombie_dark 0"
"zombie_fog 1" with "zombie_fog 0"
"zombie_fog_sky 1" with "zombie_fog_sky 0"

Unlimited Ammo:

zombie_unlimited_ammo 1

If you still want players to reload but still have 1000bullets ammo then add these lines to either
your zombiemod.cfg or server.cfg;

ammo_338mag_max 10 // awp
ammo_357sig_max 500 // p228
ammo_45acp_max 500 // ump45, mac10, usp
ammo_50AE_max 500 // deagle
ammo_556mm_box_max 0 // m249
ammo_556mm_max 60 // galil, sg552, famas, m4a1, sg550
ammo_57mm_max 500 // p90, fiveseven
ammo_762mm_max 60 // scout, ak47, g3sg1, aug
ammo_9mm_max 500 // mp5navy, tmp, glock, elite
ammo_buckshot_max 128 // m3, xm1014

How to edit the Zombie Classes?

Just open up zombie_classes.cfg located in cstrike-cfg-zombiemod,
I'll give you a small example of how to edit it;

Example;

"zombie_speed"
{
"classname" "Speed"
"model" "models/player/zh/zh_zombie003"
"health" "500"
"speed" "500.0" "jump_height" "0" "knockback" "4"

If you want the Classname to be called Roadrunner then edit the classname into

"classname" "roadrunner"

If you want the health to be 2000 just edit it like this;

"health" "2000"

And so on!

zombie mod for 1.6 will be more difficult to find, because its not as popular. just type zombie mod 1.6 in google and see what you get

do i need amx mod...coz i see cs 1.6 has ZMod....and if i need amx mod where can i find it and how to instal it...

it says to me:

and modules.ini has nothing about ExecuteHamB,and in modules folder there is no ExecuteHamB_amxx.dll

AMX mods and Admin-mod are for some HL1 mods like 1.6, plus Meta-mod. Mani-mod, and Mattie-mod, plus Meta-mod Source are for CS:S. As far as I know all you need is Meta-mod (source) to run ZM.
