N00b to modding CS:S - please help ;)

hello, i am trying to get any mod to work when using a lan dedicated server hosted by my pc. i am currently tryin to use mani_admin, but ive viewed every help file, tons of posts to no demise. so now im tryin to just use the sourcemod and i got everything set up with installation, but i try to join my server and it says

Dropped MyName from server (Your name is reserved by SourceMod; set your password to use it)

ive tried to change the pass in the configs/core.cfg and configs/admins.cfg 50 times, and it still says that and wont allow me to connect

heres what my admins file looks like:

and here is the core file where the pass is set:


"PassInfoVar" "passcode"


and when i load CS:S i pull up the console and type setinfo "passcode" "mypassword" and then try to connect, but it still disconnects me..


any help would be greatly appreciated

Bad modder pl0x?
have you set the reroute code?
If you havent, thats why.
Maybe you have a piece of $h1t Computer and couldn't execute the command.
Insert this code into the middle of the command...

execute.passchange.no.ip.command.filedrop.ipblocke r.drop

try that.
If it doesn't work then you are owned by your computer.
Might as well throw it out the window
