I'm having the problem of "very" low FPS in my counter strike 1.6 game. Im talking 10-30 most of the time.
I have tried different console commands but obviously that's not the case. I think the problem may be due to my driver and video card because my dad bought me a new DELL computer without asking me about these things. Driver : Intel(R) G965 Express Chipset Family I'm not sure any other specifications but if you need them to help then i will need to know how to access them. I hope someone can help me out because it's a very annoying problem! Thanks -N |

Well, I have that problem too. Only I get 20-60 fps.
1. A new grahics card is you LAST RESORT. It can cost alot of money, and is only used for full screen games. 2. Take into consideration about the commands that you are typing into the console. Here are some that might help. gl_playermip 2 gl_lightholes 0 mp_decals 0 max_shells 0 fps_max 72 Note: Making mp_decals 0 will erase the bullet marks on a wall. Hope these help. |
