well after playing for atleast a year..I still suck...can someone teach me techniques???

CS:S or 1.6?

If CS:S play on your machine with it running as a server, load bots, lots of them. Then just play with bots. It'll help teach you gun control and aiming. It won't really teach you how to expect what a person will do. You'll see patterns with the bots but still, it's a start. I think if you want them on one team the command is rcon add_bot t/ct, you'll have to do mp_limitteams 0 and mp_autoteambalance 0 so it doesn't balance the teams.

in a level hit`~ then type bot_zombie 1 and the computer guys wont shoot or move

Well if its in Cs 1.6 im not too good myself but buy kevlar/helm what ever guns your good with and when in a fight do short controlled bursts while moving around (makes you harder to hit). And don't try hard seems like when people try hard to be good they suck just play casually and for the most part have fun goof around laugh. Seems like even when i try to be good to get into a clan or something i screw up a lot. Just try to keep cool.
