Re: how do you install new maps
They go into the maps folder. C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\email address here\counter-strike\Maps. There may also be other files, put them into their folder. If there is a materials/sound/etc. folder than just drop those in the counter-strike folder with the maps folder. Sometimes you'll have to add folders as they don't get created until needed.

Sometimes if you just started the game for the first time or havent played anywhere yet. The Maps folder isnt there but you can just make one and it will be just fine. Oops Juss Notiiced this was stated above^^
