98dmg with a single nade

I was playing with a few people on my server earlier today and I tossed a nade from Long A double doors toward the pit at my friend. I ran out and got hit in the face without firing a single shot. After the carnage was cmplete, the damage report said I caused 98dmg with 1 hit to my friend. Well it sure wasn't my scout..

Is this even possible? I thought that nade damage, even if it blows up in your face, was limited to upper 80's per hit.

Have you ever seen someone take 100dmg or more with a single grenade?

yeah, i kiled myself with a grenade thrown at myself in one shot.....was just playing alone on the server so i tried it
