I have been playing CS-source for about 3 months now. Yes, I'm still a Rookie.
Maybe you CS Vets can explain some game play issuses.

1. Why is it, and opponent (Human or Bot) can shoot and kill me with the same weapon, I am shooting them with, and not even hitting them.

And it is not bc they are "Hacking"/Cheating

For example:

The Shotgun; Limited distance weapon right.

I got shot, by an opponent, who is camped on a roof or tower, at a good distance.
I try to shot them, and nadda, zip, not even close.
both of us have Shot Guns.

It is frustrating!

2. Why can an opponent, with a less accurate Rife pick me off when Im peeking out of a Tower Window, and I can seem to hit them when they are in the wide open?

Are Bot truely better shots then us?

3. The worst is being picked off by someone using a Pistol, and your shooting at them with a Rifle.

I am sure every one has experienced these situations.

Well, crouching does help to reduce your spray for one, and another thing, are you spraying, or shooting in short bursts/single shot? You should only ever spray if your target is fairly close to you, and a medium distance shoot in short bursts. At a long distance you should be shooting single shot, and that may help you improve.

While spraying, never just point at the head and shoot, you always spray up, so try to learn how different guns spray, and adapt to them.

1)U need pratice,lots of it
2)The reasons why bots kill u fast is becuz of something of a medium "speed kill".This is something i'm experimenting with online 2 kill ur oppenents very fast,so it'll remain classified under my watch
3)shotguns have recoil except the pumpy 12 gauge so try not to fire everything in one shot

it depends....suppose your playing with bots and theres different levels you can set them to 'easy' 'hard' and different levels when u start the game.........also bots automatically detect you using footsteps or if they look at you theres an auto-aim , they'll shoot inaccurately few times if its set on easy......the only good thing is to get them from behind and not get caught......

and yeah, i have experienced these situations and even you can kill them with a pistol....just so u kno pistols have a lot of damage, depends on where your aim is!

I know the Bots can be programed to play at the different levels.

Let me ask you; Re: Practice:
Do you think Practicing against Bot is helpful or a waste of time?

In terms of "pimping" your aim it can be helpful. Obviously you'll never be able to replace the human side thinking though. Although generally if you can kill an expert bot without it even inflicting 1hp its a gd sign ur aim is fairly good.
