how 2 play on LAN with friends?

please teach me ...T.T til now, i still dunno how 2 play on LAN with friends...
1st - how to create LAN server ? ...[ if can, please post togather with images for showing me the steps, thx ]

In your server/cstrike/cfg/server.cfg ( I'm assuming you have the dedicated server running on a separate machine, with all ports forwarded properly? ), there is an variable called " sv_lan ".

sv_lan should be set to 1. When on the same local network, your other machines with the CS client should browse the server list under the "LAN" tab. Your dedicated server, if on the network, should appear as the lone server in the list.

If you did NOT configure a separate machine with the server installed, and set up port forwarding, you have a little bit of a project ahead of you.

i only know a program called "hamachi" that can connect to LAN...
i play DotA with friends also use that program... unfortunatelly i dunno how to use it on CS...

I've actually used that for Source a few times, the Hamachi application. It depends on how he wants to run it...

Are you setting up a network, where all of the computers will be in one spot, or do you want to simulate a LAN, so you can play together from different places?

I'll try to find you a good guide depending on what you're looking for. Let me know.
