how 2 play on LAN with friends?

Can you please reiterate completely what you are trying to do, in detail. I don't quite understand what you want to do.

erm....i mean forget that LAN server.... . refer to that screenshot, how to create a server in "Internet" there...

You can either rent a dedicated server from this very site, or set up your own machine at home to do so.

If you choose to set up your own dedicated server, keep in mind that:

-You need another computer if you wish to play on it as well; you can not host a server and play the game at the same time.

-If you do have another computer, you would have to have another Steam account with the game on it.

-It will not perform NEARLY as smooth as a rented Counter-Strike.com server. This fact applies not only to in game smoothness ( shot registration/rate issues ), but ping for all users who connect as well. Unless these friends live nearby, you will probably run into lag issues.

-You will need to correctly set up port forwarding if you wish to set up your own server. ( I can help you with this as well, if needed )

I would honestly recommend Counter-Strike.com as your host, they have great prices, above average servers, their tech support is very good, and it's incredibly simpler than running your own server ( especially if you have absolutely no experience in doing so ).

for lan, you need to get a dedicated server started i think its a kinda length process but you can still do it.......there a site i saw just search it on google im sure it'll come up........the next thing you kno just give him your ip and he can play wit u
