Does anyone know How to get more Head-shots in CS 1.6???

Seriously though, AK in bursts is a good way because the kick back often nudges you into the head.
Also, I've found that having a lower sensitivty than I would normally have used in an FPS has improved my game alot.

The best thing to do to get better at head shots is use semi auto pistols such as the Deagle and shoot only 1 bullet at a time.

Try to always keep the crosshair at the hight where you think that a head would be. if an enemy comes you have the crosshair pretty much at the right spot in advance.

Well okay, someone told you to go search this forum, but i know, sometimes you are just too lazy to do so; I share that thought too so i'll just give a short post here...

First, before you even explore how you get headshots, you need to ask yourself why you can't get headshots. Here's what I can think of:

1) You are too inexperienced and you just don't react fast enough
2) You are too worked up and go like 'OMG IT'S AN ENEMY' and you start spraying
3) You are not too familiar with your gun

Point 1 needs to be dealt with over time, as you practice and play more and more, you will get a hang of the game and have faster reactions. So we'll deal with point 2. One way to counter this problem is to always place your crosshair at where you think an enemy's head might appear. So perhaps you are walking around a corner, you place your crosshair at an imaginary head's position and follow around the corner. If an enemy really appears and his head fills that 'imaginary head' space, all you need to do is tap your mouse and boom he's dead. If he moves too fast, or your reaction speed is too slow, you just have to STAY CALM, and slide your crosshair to the left, or to the right a little, while remaining at that position, and shoot.

Of course, you need practice to polish up your reaction speed, and this coupled with that speed, will make you a good headshotter. I can't promise you that this will work in all situations; your opponent might jump, or run straight at you. You really need practice, practice and more practice to familiarize yourself with your gun (whether it's an AK, M4 or MP5 etc), make your reaction speed faster, and lastly, to learn how you can combine these two, while remaining calm.

I've one last piece of advice for you haha. Sometimes when you have played for like 2 hours straight, do stop for a while and place your hand on your chest. You will realise that your heart is beating like crap. So just stop, and take a break, or it will be bad for your health. Go read up on DVT, or deep vein thrombosis. You don't want to get it and kill yourself haha.

Here some of my tips to get a good number of headshots:
1)Aim before u shoot(at neck not head!)
2)React first before ur opponents react(if u arent that fast,strafe left and right, get a good aim,then stop,shoot[works well as ur enemy has to re-aim esp after he shoots u but misses and u stop all of a sudden)
3)Learn to stay calm(Dunt be a retard and start spraying all over the place and later start flaming everyone cuz u died)
4)Take a break when u know ur not playing well(Learn to rest,ur not a machine[Machines need rest too ])
5)Use ur ears(learn to tell where ur enemies are
6)keep ur crosshair high(around head level[As u play a certain map often,u'll be able to predict where heads will pop out])
7)Know ur recoil power(Generally SMGs have the lowest recoil and MGs have the highest)
8)Learn to kill steal by aiming at engaged enemy head(not very nice but hey,at least u get a point!)
