yo so i am new to this game just got it. I have read alot of the faqs in here. but trying to get better. I wanted to know if i should play in a room by myself with just bots or just keep at it online and pray that i only get better. I really don't know the levels, I never seem to be able to keep up with my team or understand what they are talking about (long a and short a) and stuff. I am not trying to whine but I am trying to get better so i won't get *****ed at by team members cause i don't know what i am doing.

well just try to get better at getting kills and just playing in general then worry about all the teamwork stuff..its a good thing to be good w/ teamwork etc..but u have to know how to kill too..

also like what other things do they say that u dont understand?

oka, the only piece of advice i can give, is *PRACTICE*

ignore those people who say bad stuff and flame ****s
they might even suck too

if your unconfortable about online
start with bots on medium, and practice, then to hard

then start going online, and go for a server with your favorite map, and with around 4-5 people maybe so that u dont get anihilated by 50 people

Yea I am finding time to practice now and everything I am still learning, hopefully I can find some counterstrike players at college.

Time is the thing that kills me the most
I have recently been swamped with college and high school stuff =/
NO time to play =(
And playing with friends is one of the best ways to learn and get better

ok here is my mini guid to play cs:S in about 2 senteses

crouch and spray with a ak/m4 what ever and aim for the torso thay will either duck and u blow his brains out or he will keep standing up and u will see what he ate for dinner last night

and you will learn the comm thangs it takes a bit
