how can i be a good snper?

Practice every map religiously and find the best points to shoot from. Start off with (as much as I hate to say it) an AWP as it affords you more mistakes, once you get your accuracy sorted, progress to the scout and then you can really start pwning without being called an AWP n00b every two minutes!

Make sure you check your back periodically, you need to be aware of everything going on around you... remember, close range with a snipe is no match for a P90 (unless you're Ksharp!). Also find a pistol you get on well with, I tend to use p228 when I'm sniping. It's powerful and has a quick and accurate rate of fire.

I think normally if u have some friends on steam and an empty server u can have your friends run around the map while u have an AWP not scout AWP and just start picking them off. This might seem stupid but i used this tactic for 2 weeks straight 3-4 hours a day not on weekends.. And now im a cal sniper in 3 diffrent cal clans =P.

lol i jus go to create a server set it to like 4 hours nd set the bots to w.e experience level im at (E.G like if ur a ****, set them to easy) nd then jus set there experience level up everytime. also put alot of bots in there so u actually have a challenge nd trust me u will get better at AWPing while picking off 7 different bots every time ^^ thats how i got to be an AWPer

And if you want to be a [REALLY] good sniper go to your console by pressing the ~ key underneath you escape key and type in cl_crosshairscale 2000 and submit.
