mouse pads matter?

hi does mouse pad matter for ur mouse cus imma get a razer deathadder soon just wanna know if its gonna have any effect on it.

I use a padded cd notebook for my G5 optical mouse, but I find any non-gloss surface works for optical mice. Ball mice need pads.

its definitely beneficial to have a black mouse pad of some sorts. you can get one for under $15 from best buy.

I have noticed with a lot of lazer mouses that you need to have a solid color mouse pad that is a dull color. Sometimes with shiny mouse pads your lazer jumps which will make the cursor jump.

I got my black mouse pad from Frys electronics for 2 bucks. Or if you have some computer warehouse you can find one for around the same price.

lol ball mouse. I dont think a pad makes u a good player! I play pretty good without a pad! some times I use a towel smooth for my lazer mouse.lol Its really up to the player.
