CSS m4 tips

I find myself always going to the T side because I can't use M4 that well, and like AK.
But during scrims I cant always use ak, so I need to learn to use M4.
Any tips? When I shoot, i shoot bursts of 2, but usually end up spraying however long the range is. After maybe 4 or 6 shots, my crosshair is pretty large and can't do anything. Then I start spraying.
Any tips? I'm using the Small crosshair, mouse sensitivity 3.0.

Bro, ur situation is exact opposite 2 mine. I am a m4 maestro, bt cant use the ak so effectively. So here r my tips.....

1. Remember that m4 dominates at mid to long range. It isnt as powerful as the ak, but it is much more accurate.. Use this to ur advantage
2. NEVER..i say NEVER use the m4 without the silencer. With the silencer, the m4 is 1 of the most accurate assault rifles in the game.
3. For long range shots, stay still and crouched and try to take headshots using bursts of 3 or 4 rounds.
4. The m4 is the only rifle in the game which has a silencer. So there is very little sound and no weapon flash. So feel free to shoot from concealed places and drive them cRRRRRazy.
5. in close engagements u can fire in auto. Bcoz it will still b more accurate than ak, defender, kreig etc. u will most likely end up with a headshot...

thats about it. also there is something about ur playing style which has to adapt to this weapon...good luck...\m/

+1 That's very good advice so take it. I love using the M4 with a silencer makes me feel somewhat powerfull.

ya lol same here. I use M4 alot and I fail with the AK. With an M4 ALWAYS use silencer and crouch shooting in shots of 3or4. Pretty much exactly wat he said.

I run my mouse sensitivity at 1

With the m4a1 i max burst 3 shots. After I do the 3 shots I QQ

Also a trick to getting more head shots with the M4a1 and AK47 is to make your cross hair smaller

You can make your crosshair smaller by typing cl_crosshairscale 4000 in the console.

The larger the number the smaller the cross hair. I believe the max is 6000
