Seems like a lil error. I wouldn't worry. Every so often a little error happens.

Is this the first time that it has happened to you and is this the only map that it happens on?

Also you said that you can not select both pistols? I think that it is just a glitch but what can you expect from Steam... you should try to do the same thing in some different maps and see if it happens.
