Play at a deathmatch server.
If you pub and die, observe the good players in there to learn a few tricks.
Play a lot of aim maps
If your good enough try scrimming and ring for a team.

play in public servers and heres my best advice
VAC SECURED are the words you wanna see in not beprepared for a css game that will rock your world because there may be all sorts of hackers and cheatrs
(there are not alwase hackrs and cheaters in a non vac secured server but alwase be prepare for one to join)

always crouch.. the weapon won't move too much and the cross hair scale will be smaller..
don't shoot right on the body thou. they wear a kevlar so shoot on the head or to their feet ..

My tips are a bit different than yours...
1. Know when to camp... If you heard that an enemy is approaching duck near a wall or something that you could hide and you will get an easy frag... Of course public players will hate you for that But in gathers its a good thing to camp...
2. Use awp only if you are good at it!!!... If not, try various weapons like m4 ak47 or mp5
3. In my opinion USP > Deagle... Why? because Usp can kill an enemy with one shot like deagle but it has 12 bullets the extra 5 bullets sometimes are very needed + if you are CT you dont have to spend money on buying a pistol...
4. I agree with that burst, one shot thing that you said and of course about the reflecs...

So in conclution i would recommend first of all to play in public servers while you will get the hang out of controls and shoting... and when you will make headshots and kills more often start to play gathers...
But first of all Public, public, public and maybe find yourself a public clan ... You will always get better quicker with the help of your teammates Good Luck playing counter strike
