Default Need Help with some recoil issues :S

Hello,

I have a problem with cs 1.6 recoil maybe some1 out there can help me?

I'm trying to get better a controling recoil.

When I try to control it, the bullets usually go above my crosshairs, and I look down so that the spray is hitting the the target area.
But when I look at others playing they spray as well, but all the bullets stay within the crosshairs and almost never go above or too far from the crosshairs.

is there something im doing wrong? I've tried moving left and right slightly, aor using short burst, but when is comes to spraying, others spray always stay within crosshairs... How?!

Don't spray, just do a small burst.

It really depends on the weapon also. If you want to spray, you should use the mp5.

I think I know what you are talking about Strider. Sometimes while playing I notice this too. It seems that sometimes, when I watch other people spray, it almost seems as if they have no recoil. I think, for me at least, when I am close enough to an enemy to spray at him, I'm more focused on killing that enemy as opposed to being concerned as to where the bullets are in relation to the crosshair. I tend to control my spray by feel. By that I mean, I initially start off with the crosshair at the intended target and as the bullets begin to rise I pull my crosshair down proportionately. I don't focus solely on my crosshair or solely on where the bullets are going or solely on the enemy. I kind of see everything together. I guess after playing on and off for 5 years I instinctively just spray and pull down at the same time. It just kind of happens. I think that when you are "in game" you have a different mentality. When I'm just specing, I can sit there and take in everything that another player is doing as opposed to being like HOLY SH*T, MFer, DIE, DIE, damnIT DIE when i'm spraying at someone else. As Heidymus mentioned, they weapons have a LOT to do with the recoil. ie. M4 unsilenced, M4 silenced, and the king of spray the AK. I dunno, I desperately hope this made the least bit of sense or maybe I'm just thinking way too much!!! LOL

The game doesn't always show recoil if you look at the person, however if you go 1st person you can see it.

Don't worry about how it looks on other people's screens. A lot of that has to do with the first person view on spectator being inconsistent sometimes.

Drag down the crosshair until you see the bullets hitting where u want it too. Basically, focus on where the bullets are landing and not you're crosshair once you're into the spray 3-4-5 bullets in. It also depends on the gun. The mp5 never goes above the tip of the top line. The AK and M4 go above the tip of the top line. It also depends on how far they are. The farther away, the shorter the bursts you should be shooting. Create a server or join an empty one and just shoot at the wall full auto, drag down the crosshair and try to shoot the smallest and tightest groups you can against a wall.
