Cstrike folder empty (?????)

Lol, ya, happens when people install Steam all the time. Steam actually doesn't make a primary folder, you have to make/select a folder and install into that, so people get confused, but not as much as Steam does. You would think it would install into an empty folder by default but nope. That might be a good update to add on to the new installer... hint hint Steam!!

Lol ya another hint, let me go into offline mode without having to access the internet (???)

No internet = off line mode. You will not be able to load games not already installed. If it was playable through your games list then you should be able to play it.

It is. When i click on the "restart in offline mode" button it just says "steam was not able connect to a network BLAH BLAH BLAH" (yes obviously, that's why I'm trying to start in OFFLINE MODE) Also back to the skins problem, some skins won't copy to my cstrike folder and show 3 error windows when i try to drag and drop them in. If you know anything about that, maybe you could help, or else I'm just going to guess it's a problem with the skin itself.

Could be a server error or skin error. Check and make sure you got the skin for your game mod, and not the CS 1.6 skin when you want CS:S, or whatever. Steam had an issue this afternoon where I couldn't connect, but it was only for about 5 minutes, so I would retry every once in a while.

I'll keep searching for error threads here n there and get back to you.
