How do you change the style of CROSSHAIR for 1.6?

hey guys
i want to change my crosshair size in cs 1.6 in a smaller one,but it doesn't exist as an option in my game menu.
is there another way to change it?
please reply cause i'm a little lost...

Edit your config.cfg file, use the windows search to find it, and look for "cl_crosshair_size "auto"" change it to what you like. Normally its a number, like 1 through 10. You'll have to play with it.

Open the file and change the variable then save the file and restart Steam.

it's a format of cfg.
is there a program you know that may help me?

option in the game menu? as soon as you fire up the game click on options and it is right there in "multiplayer" tab.

cfg file is a text file, if your not aware of this you should create a new userconfig.cfg file in the cstrike dir and bind a key to execute it while in game. bind "key" "exec userconfig.cfg"

open the text file with notepad from it's location or right click on the .cfg file and hover over Open With in the context menu.
