Clan wX :: Since Jan 2003 :: Unique Multi-Gaming Clan

Clan wX (a US East clan) is a multi-gaming clan that's been around since January 2003. Over the years, we've maintained a close, tight-knit community. Our clan supports the following games:

Counter-Strike (both Source and 1.6)
Starcraft: Brood War
Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne
Diablo II: Lord of Destruction
World of Warcraft
Garry's Mod
Super Smash Bros. Brawl


Right now we've been setting up a new competitive CS: Source team and a more relaxed 1.6 division.

We like to think that our clan is unique and different from most other clans out there. Clan wX focuses on overall maturity and friendliness rather than pure skill, and as a result, we've been able to maintain a long-term community. Our ranking/awards system is simple but meaningful. We use a unique, customized site that is built around vBulletin.


What we have to offer:

-A Ventrilo voice server, 32 slot Counter-Strike 1.6 public server, 32 slot Counter-Strike: Source pub, a 24 slot CS:S Deathmatch/Gungame server, an IRC channel, and a unique site with active forums.
-A fresh experience: We use a simple and meaningful ranking system, plus unique awards/medals. Clan wX values maturity, dedication, and loyalty: not pointless drama and "e-peen."
-Stability: Our clan has been going strongly for almost five years with mostly the same people. We aren't about to stop soon.
-7 meaningful clan ranks to climb and dozens of awards to earn through a variety of ways. As you climb the ranks, you'll get extra benefits like free web hosting and image hosting.
-Events that are scheduled regularly. These can be anything, from karaoke nights on Ventrilo to Garry's Mod screenshot contests.


Right now, we're looking for members with these qualities:

-Maturity: We're not looking for 12 year olds. Arrogance and a bad attitude will get you removed
-A sense of humor: If you're easily offended or can't take a joke, you probably won't get along with us. As much as we want mature members in our clan, we also goof around from time to time.
-Preferably Ventrilo and a working microphone.
