If you are reading this Operations Guide, then you have either been selected to join Face Wreckers or you are in the application process. This Operations Guide will contain the core of what you need to know in order to survive in Face Wreckers as well as in the game as a whole. We here at Face Wreckers take pride in what we are, and we expect the same from you. In this Operations Guide you will see what it is that Face Wreckers are made of. We may not be the brightest on the battlefield, but we have Duty, Honor, and Courage. That is the motto to which you will adhere. We encourage you to read this Operations Guide and memorize it. Clan Background: On September 2, the gates of Face Wreckers opened to the public. In less that 24 hours after conception the clan literally became complete. Two people with a dream and crazy ideas brought the foundation of a gaming clan together, and within 24 hours of the first real thought of this idea, Face Wreckers had nearly everything it needed to launch. The only thing lacking? Members, and a server. In less than 24 hours these two people purchased hosting, a website, forums, as well as a Ventrilo server. One person skilled in graphics design, the other skilled in webhosting. One player skilled in Counter-Strike 1.6, and the other a amateur in Source. Together they sat down to create what is now known as Face Wreckers. NightKast has a rather extensive background. Back in early 2004, NightKast participated in several low level clans throughout the early 2004 year. Later in 2004 he joined ST|oned for a period of time. After leaving that clan, he went to Face Wreckers, which at the time was a CAL-I clan. For nearly all of 2005 NightKast played as best he could for Face Wreckers, and had become the Co-Leader of that clan. In early 2006, all that changed when he left Face Wreckers and joined clan uS. Now that he has left clan uS he has decided to reform his old Face Wreckers team. Redneck Warrior comes from a very lengthy gaming career. While not in Counter-Strike only, he first started gaming when Wolfenstien first hit the shelf on 4 Floppy Disc. From there he has nearly played every first person game to date that deals with fast paced shooting. Back in 2000, he participated in LanFest 2000 in Texas where he took 3rd place in Tribes: Renegades out of nearly 200 people. Since then he has played games ranging from Quake to Supreme Commander and Company of Heroes. He is currently playing Counter-Strike: Source for Face Wreckers. Clan Organization: While Face Wreckers is new, we do have a clear defined chain of command. We believe that if you have a stable gaming environment, and stable command structure, most of the problems in dealing with questions being asked will answer themselves. We do employ a ranking system based of the United States Marine Corps ranking structure. While we must agree that there are things about the USMC ranking structure that cannot fit us, we do try and adapt the USMC ranks to fit our needs. We are a American based clan that supports the United States of America’s military, and we support the great things that this country stands for. We at Face Wreckers strive to look as professional as possible at all times. Face Wreckers is more than just a clan of people, we consider ourselves family. Each member has a opinion and each member is entitled to their own beliefs without persecution from others. Face Wreckers also employs Medals & Commendations. Members are expected to perform outstandingly well, and when they do, they are rewarded. Rewards may include: Administration Rights, Medals, Clan Recognition, and other forms. Members are encouraged to learn, and play better than before. While we want skilled players, we also understand the need for camaraderie with each other. Face Wrecker members are of the highest caliber in their personality, social skills, maturity, and in some cases (but not all), skill. We are Face Wreckers believe that the members should work well and play well together. This is why we are informal in our dealings with each other outside of disciplinary actions. Clan Policies: Face Wrecked Administration Regulations – In the event that a Face Wrecked administrator has abused his/her powers, they should be reported immediately to the a Face Wrecked Staff Member. If a Administrator has been found to have abused his/her administration rights the following action shall be taken: 1. Removal of administration rights and demotion of rank. All administrators should be impartial, and not show favorites to other members because of their race, sex, religion, or sexual orientation. Any admin that lost his/her rights and rank because of abuse, can be reconsidered for the rank after a month with the understanding that admin abuse is not tolerated and the next instance of abuse they will lose all admin powers and rank permanently and possibly be removed from the roster. Face Wrecked Membership Regulations – Once a application for membership has been posted to the Face Wrecked Forums, a Staff Member will review the application. Once the application has been reviewed the staff member will conduct a interview with the applicant. If the viewing Staff Member feels that a Demo of the application on a server is required, the Staff Member will notify the applicant. Once the Demo has been reviewed by the Staff Member, further consideration will be taken to assure the Command Staff that the applicant is of the highest caliber. No member or applicant may hold membership in another clan or organization. If a member or applicant has been found to have displayed this type of behavior the member or applicant will be questioned by a Staff Member or a person on the Command Staff. A decision of removal (if necessary) is only carried out by the Command Staff. Face Wrecked Forum Regulations – The rules stated below will be followed in every thread on the forums currently and any future threads added. The rules will be followed by every member of Face Wrecked, every recruit, and every guest visiting the forum. a) No rude comments or name calling. b) No racial slurs or remarks/ c) No sexual content. d) No Sexual harassment. e) No linking to inappropriate sites. ***NOTE*** Any sexual advances or harassment will be reported to the local Law Enforcement Agency nearest to the victim in accordance with the law. All cases involving sexual harassment or advances shall be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the United States Criminal Code as well as the laws of the State of Texas of the Criminal Justice Division. Face Wrecked Inactivity/Reserve Regulations – All members of Face Wrecked are expected to maintain a level of attendance and activity. This policy starts with the squad and ends with the removal from the roster. All members are placed into a squad, preferable a squad in their time zone or are happy with the members and able to make the practices. If any member misses three consecutive practices, with out prior excuse, that member is to be placed into the squads reserves, and contacted by the squads captain, losing all rank from that squad unless he/she replies to the captains request to be more active in the squad, and has a understandable reason why he/she has been inactive. If a member continues to be inactive in his/her squad after being placed in the squad reserves and contacted by the squad captain, he/she will be placed in the Face Wrecked reserves forum mask, a Commanding Officer should be contacted with the Member ID, and date, and a note made in the command center, where they will have very limited access to the forums. If the member is still inactive for a month they will be removed from the Face Wrecked roster. Multi-Gaming Members Some members in Face Wrecked participate in several of the divisions, in the case that a multi-game member becomes inactive in one game but is still active in the others, he/she will be removed from the roster of the squad he/she is inactive in. In the event that a member that has been removed for either a squad roster or the Face Wrecked roster and wants to return, he/she must show that they will be active, and placed on a 90 day activity probation. If inactive for 3 consecutive practices, they are removed from the Face Wrecked roster. |
