Default CS-Source server questions

Presales questions
1. These are indeed Windows boxes correct and what ping booster do u use? WMP ?

2. What max FPS is allowed (500+?) I saw in a previous thread 100-200 FPS..was that an error or are they locked that low.

3. How often are the boxes rebooted, and are they in a separate data center or your own?

4. How are server updates implemented? through CP manually or automatically parsed upon a restart of the server.

5. Full FTP access?

6. If the server box my IP is hosted on has a lot of traffic(player slots used) will I see hardware overload/bandwidth lag. In other words do you try to maximize player slots with the idea that not all of those slots will be taken up all the time. IE server overload if many player slots are used across the entire server
.
7. If I got a 12 slot private only, and wish to use 1 of the 12 slots for sourceTV , is this allowed?

8. I currently have 5 servers if I were to move all 5 to you guys what could you offer? You can email me this info about costs: thephaige@sotwsource.com
server 1: 20 slot 100 tick pub
server 2: 20 slot 100 tick pub
server 3: 20 slot 100 tick pub
server 4:12 slot 100 tick 500 FPS min private
server 5:12 slot 100 tick 500 FPS min private

Im ready to talk so get back soon. thanks in advance

Default Re: CS-Source server questions

Presales questions

1. All of our servers are on Windows machines. We have our own internal boosting.

2. 150 to 250 is typical for an individual game server.

3. The boxes are rebooted daily and in own data centers.

4. Updates are through CP manually or automatically when an update is released. There's no autoupdate every time the game servers are restarted.

5. Yes, Full FTP access except for .exe files. If you have a mod that requires this, then we can upload it for you.

6. You should not experience any performance issues. We strictly monitor the server resources and limit game servers that can be installed per box.

7. SourceTV can be installed on any server you purchase from us.

8. I will respond to your email with the pricing information for 5 servers.

If want full control over your server and its configurations, then I would suggest getting a dedicated server. It may be more cost effective for you since you want multiple servers and you can set the fps to whatever you want. I've included the link to dedicated servers below.
