Hi, my name is Gisle Aune and I'm from Norway. I did come here because i wanted to know if my server is all right set up and such. I have checked the charts and my computer + internet connection handles 16-20 players. over 900 k/bit upstraem and 3500 down, my comp has 1gb ram and 1,6ghz, but it's soon to be replaced.

I'm a non-good player of CS, but sometimes i kill too. Practise makes perfect, right? IP is posted on the bottom of this post and you showing up on the server and say something is good enough for me. I have some basic mapping skills and have my first CSS map on the server (has made several HL1 maps). I kinda like the displacement and physics in HL2/CSS. The map i made is on the serer (fy_snowfight). it's been on modDB for a long time, but only got 80-90 downloads.

I play the electric gutiar and I like mostly power metal, which is a metal genre without the scream/growling and it's about war, mytology, fantasy, ... I can't stand anything electro pop, because i hate their way of making music. I have played gutar for over 1,5 years and i actually like to sit down at play. The thing i hate most is people thinking metal is SATANISTIC growling to dry crazyness, btu infact it may be a calm song, with clean vocals. My fav bands are Freedom Call, Sabaton, DragonForce, Blind Guardian and Hammerfall, five really different bands in the same genre.

Another hobby i hae is airsoft, which is a sport using guns firing 6mm plastic BBs at 300-320 fps. It's like combining my love for CS and an outdoor activity.

I'll edit it when im turing it off, please just test-join and tell me if it downlaods the map properly. I'm going to make a downlaod mirror thing at my 110mb acconut later today.

well, i'm a guitar player too although i am more of an acoustic guitar player.

Nice to hear that im the only one playing guitar here. ^

Some shit happened. When i came home, i tried to go to my server, then the download system didn't work and I forgot my rcon password. I got banned from MY own server...

So i have to guide my li'l brother to restart the computer, go and delete the ban list and check my rcon passwrod.

He's not good at all when it comes to computers.

256fps is okay for around 8-16 players?
