New guy, a mapper :D

Hey..

Well, sometimes it is just nice to greet ppl, and tell a little about yourself, so, that is what im about to do

My name is Jesper, im from Denmark, (Europe.)
proxmatly 19 yeats old
I have been playing CS for 3-4 years, but stopped playing about a year ago.

I once where Co-owner of A1 hosting (a danish server hosting firm), but got shutdown due to some problems in the firm.
In the firm, my main position was to make sure everything was running smothly, and keeping in touch with affils, ppl we sponsored and some other stuff to.

But one of the things a got "famous" on, was my mapping. Did a lot of private maps for clans, everything from shooting rance to bigger DE maps. (not real famous, but on a limited bacis )
But none of them (except some early beta's) got released, due to the fact that they were private maps, and the customers didnt normaly bother to tell about the map, but just kept it to them selv and played some training matches on them.

Well, like i said, i quit playing CS about 1 year ago, but have still been doing some mapping, and still are.
So i decided it was time for me to do some more then just private maps, i was gonna release some of them to.

And that was the main reason for me to come to this place. To try to get some mapping done, and then showing the world what i have done.

And i really hope you guys will like what i make, and hopefully also be playing some on my maps.
But for now it is just all the mapping/texturing i need donem to have something to release.

My current project is CS_Holstebro_ts

The map is a copy of the school im currently living at. It is not an axact copy, but something that (hopefully) should end up looking a lot like it.

My inpiration of this map is of course the school, but also a map of a danish mapper that made a trainstaion (our capital's train staion)
The proces of the map i aprox 35% done, so it is far from done, but still good on its way.

I dont know the release date yet, since i got some vecation and some coming up i a near future, and a cant map when living at the school, doe to the fact that i got no computer with Hammer on it up here.

I think that is all from me, for now at least..
