Haha thnk you, yeah they arent very good and Im glad I came here. I will order my server as soon as they reply to my refund ticket, but who knows how long that will be

Well, CS.com has a MUCH better CPanel (I maintain a server for a friend who paid a year ahead on that). They have such a crappy Control Panel! You have to basically do everything over FTP.

Also, I didn't think they give refunds (my friend wanted one back and they refused). I went to their Terms of Service and YUP, this is what they have on it:

C. Membership Fees. Membership fees for use of GameServers are prominently displayed prior to processing your subscription thereto. You agree to pay all membership fees when due according to these billing terms. All fees are nonrefundable.

Also...

In the event that your account is canceled by you, no refund, including any membership fees, will be granted;

I hope they make an exception for you and that you're not stuck with them! They really are horrible in my opinion.

They did give a refund to my friend cause he said it was to hard to install add-ons through ftp. And since I was a new member, they said I can have a refund for the first 5 days, its been 3 days and I saw the lameness of there support and how hard it is to run the server. Every time I install add-ons,or even mani' they shut the server down. If they dont refund I think they should be shut down for being criminals lol. They suck

Well basically once you sign up their ToS becomes a legal contract. Had they not given you a refund within the time limit you could sue them for breaking the contract. The govt. wouldn't shut them down, but in a way the news of this would do enough harm.

I don't get why any company would want to take money only to piss off the customers. Especially one that relies on word of mouth, a Google search, and a renewal of a contract. It's not like these hosts go out and buy commercials or have banners out on Google. One bad post on a forum can lead to an internet search finding it and posting it at the top. The sad part is Gameservers lack of bad service threads on their boards. They have to hide/delete all the posts saying their service is bad. I just added it to my signature. It would still be there if my posts were newer and not way back at the end.

CS.com will come up with any search for help with any CS mod or other cs help topic. That what makes this a successful community, a very active forums with good people willing to help you. Not go out and delete your threads because you server is down and the support system is slow. There's always someone here to help, even if we can't get to your server and start it for you. The hosts employees do read these threads but can't help as your account here is not linked or secure for them to tell what server is yours.

Word of advice: Post support issues in your sever control panels support ticket system, not the boards. It will be fixed faster that way. It'll help your stress level if anything goes wrong. So does chocolate.

Hahahaha Im not i big fan of chocolate but I'll give it a try. Its no use taking on a company like them. But I still havent heard anything back from the support and my server is still down. But what even worse, when you go on their forums, the technical support forum is full of server down and ftp client problems. If only I saw that before I bought my server there. But I like that I get responses here, it feel so different lol
