i tried to config my modem . and open port forwarding udp and tcp 27015 , 1200, 27000-27030

and it still does not work

here is the big picture which is just the same as the one i posted

yea. it is better to have router. but . it does not make sense if modem only can not forward port ? because router is behind a modem right? you know what i mean . like router is a "child" of modem ..ahh you know what i meant lol

The reason why it's not working for you is probably because that IP address is not correct. For your actual IP address, go to: What Is My IP Address? - IP Address Lookup, Internet Speed Test, IP Info, plus more

i went to whatismyip.com
and i got my external ip .and then on the game. find server. favorites or something . add server.
96.247.73.169:27015. ( i am not opening the server right now )

and then find games at this address. it says server is not responding .

well i try it from my own computer though .

i think i need 27016 to play on my own server ?

on srcds command how can i call to port forward to specific ip ?
+ip 192.168.1.46 like that ?

and on some tutorials i 've seen .
the screen shot that they put . there were external ip on the srcds command .. so i think there is gotta be something s wrong with my config.

btw. i cant find server.cfg under my hlserver folder.

Well, in order to join your own server, you just have to create the server first. It's not created on your computer automatically.
