Question How to map for CS: Source?

Hi all,

I want to start mapping for CS: Source, but everytime I choose HL2: EP1 as my engine version (in that little Source SDK window) I get the error message below when I try to open a new document in Hammer:

"Failed to load the default scheme file. The map views may be missing some visual elements."

As a result all my views appear pitch black, with no grids, and the 3D view only shows brushes in wireframe.

If I choose "The Orange Box" as my engine version, then when I open a new document in Hammer everything is ok. The problem is that the Source SKD window won't give me CS: Source as a "Current Game" option, whereas if I choose the HL2: EP1 as my engine version, then the Source SDK window does give me CS: Source as an option (and HL2, HL2: Deathmatch, and HL2: EP1).

Any ideas/tips/advice/hints will be immensely appreciated

Thumbs up Re: How to map for CS: Source?

Thank you HaNnI
I had already tried that without avail
But I found the solution already thanks to Haymaker from the Steampowered forums. Apparently I was only missing loading a map after I had reinstalled the Source SDK , go figure!
