Exclamation Map radar (overview) help

Hey can any 1 help me with my map radar? i followed this tutorial : FPSBANANA > Tutorials > CS:S > Mapping > Overview a
Took all the screenshots needed for it and edited them in photoshop saved them as a vtf and made the proper vmf for my map using these codes.

and also made the txt file which is

placed them in proper folders. Both the VMF and VTF files went to "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\(Your Steam Name)\counter-strike source\cstrike\materials\overviews" and my text file went into "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\(Your Steam Name)\counter-strike source\cstrike\resource\overviews"

Can any1 help me with my problem? And yes the name of the map is the same as in the txt and vmf/vtf.

Ok, try to use VTFEdit. Copy/open the img into this and then save as the file you need. It will also compile VTF file when you save. You'll have to edit that though when you save the image so CS/H-L know where to look. Also most of the time the VTF and VMF go in the same folder.

is it possible for me to just take the radar out of the regular de_dust2 map for source? cuz thats all my map is, just d2 at night with fog around it and the skybox is different.

You can use the same one, that's up to you and the creator of the map/files.

ok. Where would i find the vmf/vft files of the map so i can use the radar from the regular map?
