Default Keep Aspect ratio, when resizing

I need some help with resizing objects in hammer. (I'm on CS 1.x)
I want to make an item smaller, but can't figure out how to lock the aspect ratio to the ojbect, so when i shrink it the texture shrinks to. Currently it just shows a smaller part of the texture.
Thanks for the help

first! you shouldnt resize too many brushes at the same time because usually it gets errors on brushes etc..
but still, if you want the texture to get smaller, you use the texture tool Shift+A and make it Fit, or just resize it to 0.5 in the X and Y area, or smaller, you try it..
NOTE - if you make it fit, after you wont be able to adjust it anymore! you Undo the changes or you just redo the brush
did you get it?

Thumbs up Re: Keep Aspect ratio, when resizing

Thanks that works. Well the hot key Ctrl A doesn't but found it in the menu as texture application. I thought that was the same as the texture app that was on the right side so never tried it.

I saw a screen shot of someones Hammer that had a option to apply overlay, thought that was my issue, as I don't have that option.

Thanks again
DataDink.
