I need some help with resizing objects in hammer. (I'm on CS 1.x)
I want to make an item smaller, but can't figure out how to lock the aspect ratio to the ojbect, so when i shrink it the texture shrinks to. Currently it just shows a smaller part of the texture. Thanks for the help DataDink |

but still, if you want the texture to get smaller, you use the texture tool Shift+A and make it Fit, or just resize it to 0.5 in the X and Y area, or smaller, you try it.. NOTE - if you make it fit, after you wont be able to adjust it anymore! you Undo the changes or you just redo the brush did you get it? |

Thanks that works. Well the hot key Ctrl A doesn't but found it in the menu as texture application. I thought that was the same as the texture app that was on the right side so never tried it.
I saw a screen shot of someones Hammer that had a option to apply overlay, thought that was my issue, as I don't have that option. Thanks again DataDink. |
