Unhappy Objects disappearing.

Okay, so im making a map and i put a skybox.. but when i test the map, if i get far away from a object it'll disappear.
This only happens when i have a skybox, if i were to remove it i could see all objects. Anyone know what the problem is?

Is the skybox big enough to hold the map, I think the skybox is equal to 1/17 of the part of the map the player is in.

Yeah im sure it's big enough, it's not a big map cause it's not done. I've made the skybox different sizes and everything but doesn't help.

As posted in another thread, since I've been doing this for a long, long time now. I always make sure that the skybox is twice the size of the actual play area. Let's say, you create a map that you want the play area to be 1024W1024Dx512H, for example... You'd have to make sure that the skybox is 2048Wx2048Dx1024H. Hope that helps. That way, you won't miss anything much, and you won't have such a buggy map. I try to encourage that all the time, so if you map that way, it'll actually be good. Just make sure that the play area is right in the center of the map, so that way the skybox will totally encompass all aspects of the map.

EDIT: Just to clarify... Build the skybox FIRST. Have the four walls and ceiling of the outermost brushes be the tools/toolsskybox, whilst the floor be a floor texture. Then you can build the play area from within that.
