need help with making admins

dude i installed mani admin plugin to my server the lastest 1 i thing it is something 0.2 ok but i cant make my self admin i put my steam id in the aminlist but it dont work this is the problem can u plz help me now???

lol i have the same problem with mine ive tried like a hundred tutorials and searched the web for so long what happens when i type admin in console is i get this unknown command "admin" i think it is simular if not exactly what this guy is getting...so i no his pain.....i have also posted in like 50 forums but all they do is ak me questions that ive already answerd in my first post im like mfg did u even read what i said....so good luck with getting it to work...o and if u could please help us that be great i know u guys r probly very busy with stuff but if u could please take a few min of ur time and help us i know ill be forever in ur det becuase it would make me the happyiest person in the world

You guys need to create a clients.txt and add the following:

Just change the values to match your own. Now there are flags there - that gives you FULL admin rights. After this, bind a key to bring up the menu, to do that in console type: bind "p" "admin" and every time you hit "p" the menu should come up.

TO ADD ADMINS, the easiest way is to get in-game, bring up the admin menu and go through the menu until you see "Client Options" and hit that. Then you can add, update, remove, set flags, and immunity. This will easily update your clients.txt without you manually doing it the first time. The first time is just to add yourself.
