Quick question on running a server.

im running a server on my computer for my friends and i, but im wondering how i can use the ingame console for the server rather than having to minimize the game to change stuff in the console. thanks

If you don't have any admin mods installed, then you can use RCON.
An RCON password should be avaliable in your setup folders, probably your main server.txt file.
When you have found/created this password, on the ingame console type:

rcon_password <yourpassword>
and to save time in the future: bind X "rcon_password <yourpassword>"
X being an example key, just press this key when you join the server for admin/access

Check out the RCON commands section for what you can do with it:

You cannot change server parameters or rules, for example maprotation and advertizements, but you can choose current map, change buytimes and money values (I believe).

um. the server.cfg file, you have to make, then stick in your servers cstrike directory. ask watdaflip for the website for the config maker.
