Clan's first server.

Hay my clan |rGs| are about to purchase our first server which comes with the mani admin plugin installed and I was curious as to how it works. Is it command based or is there some sort of interface? Moreover aparently when we rent the server it will default to DWP which we do not want as we want to old style weapons pricing. Does anyone know how we will get rid of this? and finally any general tips for admins?

Yes mani mod comes with a GUI ingame. To turn of dynamic pricing add

mp_dynamicpricing 0 to the server cfg file (this will turn it off every time the server restarts so you don't have to)

Or you can type that command in console and change map and it will turn it off

Tips... don't abuse it, don't slay or slap people for no reason, just play like your a normal person in the server and people will respect you more because of it.

Oh also, this is just something that bothers me, but before you kick/ban people, tell then why.... I've been kicked/banned from servers because they thought I was hacking because I had a better score then them (like being an admin automatically should make you better !?!?), or for joining a server and they told me to switch sides or only knife on the mic (I turn the mic sound off because I find it annoying), so I don't ever hear them say it.

Cool thanks for the info bro and I'm with you on not slapping / kicking etc for no reason. I've been a victim of that before now.
