Hello! I run a relatively small CounterStrike:Source server in my living room, which generates a small to medium amount of traffic, mostly friends. But there are occasionally new people who come to play, and find that they like the server. We have had a few regulars in for a while, and I know them pretty well. But they cannot all be admins, even though they'd like that very much. I just don't know how to decide who gets an admin position. I really need one filled, and the candidates are on at the needed time, it's just a tough decision. So I ask, how does your clan, or you and your fellow admins, select new Admins or recruits?

you gotta chose the dedicated ones. the onesyou can trust not to mess up your server or be abusive to the other players that go on. (probably one of the regulars). ALSO its a good idea NOT to have too many admins, because i was in a clan with like, 20 admins, and the map would change every 30 seconds, because no one could agree on a map. people were being kicked because one admin didnt like him, but another did, so then they fight, and someone gets banned. :| i just took every1 off the list and gave it to 3 ppl in the clan. try not to giveto more than 5-6 ppl, or else your server will be F-U-C-K-E-D up.

Well, in a chance happening, I am having to revoke an admins powers today. He was overly abusive toward other players, and was proven to be an extremely immature individual overall. What surprised me the most was he was the one I knew the most, and was the first one to even get admin. Ironic, the most highly regarded one turns out to be the worst.

You can also restrict admin priviledges in amx mod x. Give small powers to immature admins and give big powers (kick, ban etc) to mature admins. A good rule of thumb is don't give admin to anyone who has been a regular for less than 1 month.
