Server Help

I am going to purchase a server from a computer store.
I am taking about a web server (the actual device). Is there any way i can install a dedicated sever on there because i am using a dedicated server on my computer from steam and i want to install a counterstrike server onto my server (hardware) and host it on the internet with all my mods and plugins.

Can somebody help me with instructions on how to do this or if it is possible.
Since i am buying a server, do i need to install mysql or apache on it or can i just download a dedicated server, load it on the server and play on it like i do on my computer?

As you can see i am not entirely sure about this myself.

Just to make it clearer
I am buying an http server from a store most likely futureshop or bestbuy.
I want to run a counterstrike server on it. I am wondering if a deicated server will work on it.
I am wondering if i need any special things installed on the server (Anything [Apache, MySql,])
I want to run Amx Mod X on the server and run it like i run my steam dedicated server.

Please get back to me asap if you know what i am talking about.

IN a server you mean a tower server? from bestbuy if yes you could do it.
