CS source server upload
Hello,
Today I made my first CS:S internet server, as a project. Its running on a: p4-1700mhz 512mb ram 40 hdd That would be ok for 12slots I guess. But the problem is, sometimes we get a lot of lagg, haven't fully tested the server.. but I think it's my connection. I have around 2645 kb/s download and 164 kb/s upload. The upload is quite slow huh? Does anyone know what the requirements are /slot? ( for upload, download, ram, cpu, etc) That would help me a lot! Glenn ( btw new member here) |

I run lan servers at 256 mb ram per player slot 512 isn't much for an operating system, let alone a game server.

I don't understant what you mean by that. Got ADSL connection
also I added some custom maps on my server, but the clients are unable to download them ( map missing, dissconnecting) already putted allowdownload to 1 and allowupload to 1. I understand that servers are unable to upload the maps to the clients, they redirect you to a webspace to download the missing map, is that correct? |
