Default Any server admin can advice?

Hi,

I am part of the server admin team within my clan (Old Man Gang) and we have our own dedicated CS:Source 32/32 pub server running. We are using Mani plugins and RCon.

I've ever played on this other 24 man pub server once where it would auto rotate maps after 30 rounds. However, the interesting thing is, after 15 rounds, the teams are automatically swapped around, so CT become T and vice versa.

How would I set up this for my own server?

If I don't want to make it automatic, is it possible for the server admins to initate whole team swop with a single command?

I've browsed google and came up witht he command line : ma_swap teams #all
but I ended up getting intant auto banned and kicked from within the server when this was initated and it only swapped half the teams.

Just to mention the server currently does run auto team balance on so that after each round, higer 'rank' players are swopped to the losing team. I just wonder wether this option caused incombatability issue with my swop team command.

Thanks for any advice.

Insert into your server.cfg file and delete the old. It's under "//////////////////////////// TIME, WIN & ROUND SETTINGS ////////////////////////////"

// When a team reaches this amount of wins (before the timelimit or the roundlimit is
// reached), it has won the map. 0=disabled
mp_winlimit 15

// When two teams finish playing this amount of rounds (before the timelimit or the
// winlimit is reached) the map ends. 0=disabled
mp_maxrounds 30

This will swap after wins, not total rounds played. Then you'll need some sort of script plug in to swap the teams. Check Mattie Mod as this sounds more like it's all built into one script rather than cfg settings and a simple team swap script.

Thanks mate, for the prompt reply.

What about if I just want to do a simple team swop?

Is the command line : ma_swap teams #all
correct? Or is it more complicated than that?

We are running a server in Singapore for the local guys to play and for our own clan. The only problem is, the locals don't know any other map other than de_dust2.
We are trying to wean them from this map, but it is very hard to get them to play other maps when some of the maps can be a bit imbalanced if people don't know what they are doing. Most of the experienced guys keep picking the camping team no matter what map they play.

So I just wanna exert abit more influence and mix it up for people to have a good time in the server instead of letting it become a boring camp game or one side slaughter. Annoys me the same lamers keep picking the 'easy' team and sit and snipe away at a choke points. If I can turn the table on them, then they have no reason to pick the camping teams all the time and they should be able to play both defensive and offensively.

ma_swapteam #all should do the trick.

If you want them to do other maps try getting them to run the CAL maps. They are pretty evenly balanced so no one team has an advantage. Also fy_ maps can be fun.
