Well mine even shows the IP and says it has a low ping, but then won't connect...it's so weird...and /really/ frustrating lol.

Do you load it as a dedicatd server then try to join using the same machine?

I would run through quickly and check port settings and firewall settings. I would also check for any software/hardware settings on the server and clients as well as routers and other network gear. I say this as I would mix things up every once in a while and then find it on a 2nd or 3rd check.

I have opened all ports and disabled the firewall on the router AND on the server. I even placed the IP for the server outside of the router in a router setting. I have disabled all unnecessary services and uninstalled all unused programs on the server.
