Smart Filter Bess Edition: F U! I need to open port

I am at my aunts office where i work and get paid under the table. I have my laptop and want to play counter strike but the district(the building is on the school district's network) has Smart Filter Bess Edition which prevents you from getting on youtube,myspace,facebook,etc all the fun stuff. Most important of all i can't connect to steam because i'm guessing Smart Filter is blocking steam. Anyone who can help me solve this problem or knows how to bypass the Smart Filter you would help me alot. I'm on Windows Xp Pro with a Cable Internet Connection Thanks in Advance. All positive input is appreciated

Try using a proxy unblocker, theres a lot of them out there so make a search for 'Proxy Unblockers' and you will find loads.

Heres an example -

those damn blocks are such a ***** to pass. even if you find a proxy, they will block it soon enough. and im guessing your get your wireless from the school? well i wouldnt bother doing it that way... go to a local mcdonalds or something. they dont block stuff
