Default Re: The CS server "menu"

Thanks, but that is not my question. I have already centered the image and changed the background color. But not everybody play with the same resolution. So if I set my res to 640x480 then I only see the left corner of the picture (yes, scrollbar is activated but doesn't work). 800x600 is fine and everything above that.
What is the best solution to make it visable to all resolutions? A clean html page or is there a code that can make the image resize after the persons resolution in the game?

First off, it is VERY unlikely that anyone will be playing at a resolution below 800x600.

To my knowledge, there is no way to resize an image based on a user's resolution. The image is a set width and height. You could make a web page instead of the image and set the width to 100%, allowing the page to be resized based on the user's resolution.

Can you just put text in for the time being? Like delete the default frameset stuff and just put:

<body>
blahblahblah
</body>

?

These are the tags you need for any HTML based page to work:

Quote:
<HTML>
<HEAD><TITLE></TITLE></HEAD>
<BODY>

</BODY>
</HTML>
Yes, you can put text in between the body tags and it will work.

You can also implement your bgcolor function and font options:

Quote:
<HTML>
<HEAD><TITLE>CSS MOTD</TITLE></HEAD>
<BODY bgcolor="black">
<FONT color="white" face="Kartika">Welcome to our server.</FONT>
</BODY>
</HTML>
I believe in CSS MOTDs you can leave out the header and title tags and it will still work, but I don't think it really matters.
