Lan server on vista
I'm having trouble setting up a LAN server on vista ultimate. The server will not show up on any of my xp computers. I have all firewalls turned off that I know of. My CS:S server works fine and my dedicated server for cs 1.6 works also. Any suggesstions? I have a friend with the same problem.

I finally got a reply from Steam Support:
"Hello, There is currently a known issue hosting LAN games on Vista machines. Thank you for taking the time to report this issue. We apologize for the inconvenience. We are aware of the problem and are currently working on a fix for it. We hope to have all of the known issues taken care of fairly soon. " |

I've got the same problem. Searched google and found this thread. Just wondering if you've got it sorted yet?
I can see any server on Vista if I host it on XP, but not the other way round. Oh and hello everyone.  |
