OK look, I set everything up, I could go on my own server through 192.168.1.4:27015, but I'd like others (12p serv for friends..) to go on this server. I use console to start it up, if I put in +ip xxx.xxx.etc in the command line it gives the message 'Couldn't allocate server ip port 27015' If i don't specify the IP it starts up with 192.168.1.4:27015 and works fine.
Help please?

Are you behind a firewall / router?

Should solve the issue unless you're behind a firewall. Try disabling the firewall and see if the issue persists.. if it doesn't we know the issue and can go from there

Also make sure you're putting in the right IP (not localhost / 127.0.0.1). myIPaddress.com: What is my IP address? How do I find my IP address? and use that one.
