ok so i had counter strike anthology, i bought it about a year ago and played for awhile. then i uninstalled it and reintalled it. i tried to put in the CD activation key but it says its already in use. idk what else to do. anyone know what i can or should do?

Were you using it with steam? If so you need to use the same username your originally made your account with.

Yours out of luck. Theres no way to recover it without knowing anything about your acocunt (username, password, email, answer to secret question)

I mean you can try contacting steam and seeing what they can do, but if you don't have any piece of information about the account to prove its yours I don't think they will do anything

If steam can't get you access to your account anymore, then yeah, buying a new copy is the only option left
