Default server tick rate question

Hey just hoping you guys could answer my question, i have some CSS servers and i have the tickrate set to 100, but ingame its not getting any higher than 50, like 50 is as high as it will ever get. Any reason why and how to up it too 100 properly thankyou

Indeed a very nice article. Helped me out awhile ago when I had to set it up from the base down on a linux machine. Hooah.

I've read your report on netgraph and tickrate, but I'm still slightly confused about the actual transfer rate. Does it roughly follow suit that a 100 tick server will send and receive from each player at approximately 10Kb/s each way, and a 66 tick server at approximately 6.6Kb/s?

Thanks.
