i have just started playing counter strike for a while now. it works fine but sometimes my latency(i guess you call it fps) goes to 250 or even 600.are there any downloads that can fix this?

it can be several different reasons why....it could be because your downloading somthing while playing cs
or if u have more than 1 computer in the house that is using the same internet connection or you just have a sucky internet provider.
