How i set up a home dedicated server with bots

HOW TO SET UP A DEDICATED COUNTER STRIKE 1.6 SERVER
---------------------------------------------------

IMPORTANT: YOU NEED A "STATIC IP ADDRESS" ask your internet provider about this.
and you need minimum of 1500 download speed and 1500 upload speed to run a 32 player server

1) configer your (TCP/IP) "somthing like this.

ip address: 10.0.0.1
subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
default gateway: 10.0.0.138

Preferred DNS server: 10.0.0.138
Alternate DNS server: 10.0.0.137

TO GET THIS INFOMATION GO TO: start/run
then type in "command" with out the quots
in command type "ipconfig" with out the quots
this is the infomation you need to set your (TCP/IP) "wright it down"

YOU WILL NEED YOUR IP ADDRESS GET THIS FROM:What Is My IP Address - Shows Your IP Address YOU WILL NEED THIS FOR FRIENDS TO CONNECT TO YOU.

2) Download SteamInstall.msi or http://www.steampowered.com/download/hldsupdatetool.exe
3) INSTALL SERVER
IMPORTENT: you have to run the server once and the game once to create folders.
4) INSTALL AMX MODX: AMX Mod X - Half-Life Scripting for Pros!
5) go to: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\YOUR ACCOUNT NAME HERE\dedicated server\cstrike\addons\amxmodx\configs/users.ini
add you steam id and game profile name somthing like this:
THIS WILL GIVE YOU ADMIN RIGHTS!

; Examples of admin accounts:

; "123.45.67.89" "" "abcdefghijklmnopqrstu" "de"
; "My Name" "my_password" "abcdefghijklmnopqrstu" "a"

GOTO: "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\YOUR ACCOUNT NAME\dedicated server/creat a text file
called steam_appid.txt in it type this then save:

ADDING BOTS AND BOT CONTROLE MENU:

and get your bots here: Bots United - Filebase POD-Bot mm Latest Official Releases Fullpack V3B20a

1) install your bots folder to: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\your account name\dedicated server\cstrike\addons
2) then go to:C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\your account name\dedicated server\cstrike\addons\metamod/plugins.ini
edit plugins.ini add this line without quots "win32 addons/podbot/podbot_mm.dll" then save
3) add way points for your custom maps:C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\your account name\dedicated server\cstrike\addons\podbot\wptdefault
past your way points here.

by the way i installed a custom bot menu

installing menu

1) go to: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\your account name\dedicated server\cstrike\addons\amxmodx\configs/plugins.ini
in plugins.ini add this line down the bottom: amxx_podbotmenu.amxx
2)then go to: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\your account name\dedicated server\cstrike\addons\amxmodx\scripting
and past your amxx_podbotmenu.sma.
3) go to: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\your account name\dedicated server\cstrike\addons\amxmodx\plugins
then past your amxx_podbotmenu.amxx.

INSTALLING THE BOT_MENU IS THE SAME AS INSTALLING ANY OTHER MOD'S YOU WANT IN YOUR SERVER.

then you are set to play with bots and have full control of the bot's.
