Server help

OK so i want my own css server, ive have the parts and know how to build a good one, what i dont know is what to do after that? Is there a post with detailed info on how to set up the css part of your own server? Do i have to buy the game again? Do i need to download special admin plugins? What must i do? I need a prety detailed acount of what ill need to do so that i dont have to ask questions every couple of hours when i start the setup of the server.

Well when you have it built and going you will need to install Steam and then the server you want. For CS:S you do Source Dedicated Server. You'll have to set up your router and open the proper ports and set it to UDP. Then set your config files and load the mods you want just like you would with a company hosted server. Start the server up by opening SDS. If you only have one account then you may not be able to play, but with it being lan you might be able to get it to play when Steam is in Off-Line Mode. You'll just be seeing your server on the Lan list.
