Default Post your gaming rig specs.

So, what type of PC build powers your gaming experience? I'll start with my list

Antec 900 Steel Gaming Case
AMD Phenom 9550 x4 Quad-Core CPU
ASUS M3N78 Pro AM2+ Mobo
4GB Corsair DHX-XMS2 (2 x 2GB) DDR2-800
WD Caviar 640GB HDD SATA
LG 20x DVD+/-RW SATA w/ LightScribe and SecurDisk
Corsair HX520W Modular PSU
eVGA 9800GTX+ 512MB GDDR3
X-Fi XtremeGamer
Vista Ultimate x64 SP1
Logitech X-240 2.1 Speaker System
Samsung SyncMaster TOC 24" LCD (T240)

All in all, I don't see any trouble having this run my games, and does perform better than I expected.
Let's hear what's under the hood by you. Keep it clean...

Dear god I can't remember half my stuff, been 2 years since I built her. But I'll try...

-Really cheap case from CompUSA
-AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ Windsor 2.6GHz Socket AM2 89W Dual-Core Processor Model
-ZALMAN CNPS 9500 AM2 2 Ball CPU Cooling Fan/Heatsink
-MSI K9A Platinum AM2 AMD 580X CrossFire ATX AMD Motherboard
-Mushkin 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit X2
-Western Digital Caviar RE WD1600YS 160GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive X2
-SONY ... 2MB Cache P-ATA 20X DVD±R DVD Burner with 12X DVD-RAM
-AeroCool 620W ATX12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready PSU
-HIS Radeon HD 2600XT 512MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card
-Windows XP 64 W/SP2
-PNY PCI Express SATA II RAID 2 CH. (2 External/ 2 Internal) CARD
-SAMSUNG Black 1.44MB 3.5" Internal Floppy Drive
-19" Samsung LCD Monitor

This bastid runs all the H-L games with more than enough resources to run other carp in the background. She also see FPS in the 300's but sits around the 250's when not in my server. This is also just one of my gaming machines.

I read on Counter-Strike Guide, Tips and Strategy - FPS GOD that LCD screens are only capable of like 75 fps.

I don't know the specific link off hand, but there's a lot of good info there about LCDs only being able to handle up to 75 fps. There's even a section there which says apx. 64% of all players are only running 60 fps.
