I did the same thing a few weeks back, but got a really good deal on a HP media center kit. It's a smaller case but had the nicer video card in it, and HP's 22" HDMI disply. I replaced the PS and will soon replace the video card, once it comes in, but everything else was more than I really needed. Had 5 gigs of ram, the card readers, the generic cdrw HP uses, and a 750 gig HDD. I also added a 640 gig HDD for my other files and kind of as a back up. If I can get HP to send me another 750 I'll run raid in this machine as well.

That machine has the same keyboard I have, and am using to type this post with, and I hate it. I keep hitting the caps key. Sometimes it's worse, I'll hit the sleep key when in game when I wanted to hit the `/~ key.

One thing I have noticed it that the newer HP's run hot. This one heats up my basement, which doesn't need help with 95 degree weather. I try not to keep it on but I use it for my map compilings and other stuff I don't want to use my gaming machine for. I'm trying to see if I can fit in a better cpu fan and maybe reconfig the internals to allow for better air movement, as well as HDD fans and more case fans. I don't think I'll be to successful though, it's pretty tight.

Thanks. I left her off all day and it is definantly cooler. Looks like it's time to add a/c to this house. It'll be good in winter though!!

Nope, used to live on OKC though. Now I'm in Colorado.

ah man, how you gonna do that to me? I ****ing miss Colorado so bad, used to live there myself. Have a ton of family around various parts of the state.
